The CompactSieve is a very versatile mechanical filter that can be used in different applications:
As a particle remover directly next to the pond or to a waterfall/stream return to pond. As a mechanical particle waste pre-filter before surface mounted biological stages.
As a mechanical pre-filter for existing trickle filter systems.  This unit can be connected to an existing pumped pond skimmer system.

The unit must be mounted above pond water level.  The unit can be connected to a pond vacuum cleaner and the returned water from the vacuum cleaner can be fed into the input hose tail via a T-piece or directly.

An effective biological system that delivers clear healthy water, simple and minimal cleaning, as well as tough, durable products that stand up to the harsh environment of a garden pond. Consisting of Aquamax solid handling pump, Biotec filter and Bitron UVC, the Oase Biosys is the solution to pond problems!

Complete pressure filter systems, consisting of the Filtoclear pressure filter with integrated clarifier, the Aquamax pump for polluted pond water.

Easy to use, pressure filters with built-in UVC. The Filtoclear is a powerful mechanical and biological filter and UVC all in one. Can be placed above or below the water level. The outflow can be used to feed a waterfall. "Easy-clean technology" makes the Filtoclear very user-friendly, as they are equipped with a multi-directional valve for cleaning and flushing out, and with an integrated cleaning mechanism for filter sponges. Ideally used with Oase Aquamax pump.

Normal Running
Water is pumped in through the inlet and inlet screen. Flowing up through the floating bead bed where filtration takes place. Filtered water exits through the outlet screen and returns to the pond via a non return valve.

Backwash
The pump is turned off and the inlet valve (a) and the outlet checkvalve (b) close automatically.
The air inlet valve (c) opens as waste water starts to flush out of the water outlet (d).
The beads tumble clean (e) in a cascade of air bubbles and dirt is drawn out through the screen.
Once the filter has drained, the pump is restarted and filtration continues.

The EconoBead filters have a strong quality polypropylene vessel and are standard equipped with:

All units come mounted on a skid base and are supplied with high pressure blower for back flushing, non return valve to blower and sight glass for checking on backflush progress.

Water is pumped to the Multi-port valve and diverted to the lower filter.

The inflowing water is then evenly dispersed through the special slotted pipes (Laterals) within the lower section of the filter.

As the water flows upwards through the filter media, the contaminated water is subjected to mechanical and biological filtration.

Mechanical filters physically remove solids from the pond by trapping them between the crevices of the filter media.

Biological filtration is the most effective method of removing toxins (ammonia) and breaking it down into nitrites and subsequently nitrates which provide food to your aquatic plants (referred to as the Nitrogen Cycle). This is accomplished by using naturally occurring bacteria and giving it a place to live (Biofilter media).

The Ultra Bead filters are standard equipped with a 2” multi-port valve, a transparent access cap, powerful blower, a unique water inlet system that makes the solids go down and a sludge drain at the base of the filter.

Incoming water is guided by a diverter plate so that it enters multi hydro cyclones tangentially, generating a strong centrifugal effect. this spins the sediment out to the hydro cyclone's wall and then spirals it down the sediment sump, while the cleansed water spirals upwards. the accumulation of the sediment can be visibly monitored through the Multi Cyclone's clear sediment sump. It is cleared by simply opening the purge valve. Only 15 liters of water is discharged to clean the unit of sediment.
