UV's

This unit will help / prevent your water from turning green. When the water passes through the lamp "supplied with all units" the UV destroys the single celled algae which in turn causes the pond water to turn green. Fitting your Pro Clear Advantage unit is very easy. The unit is connected into the water circulation system  and connected to a mains electricity supply in the same way as fitting a plug. The unit is designed to be positioned either on its base on a flat surface, or attached horizontally to a vertical surface using the brackets provided, and is supplied with dual inlet/outlet fittings allowing the unit to be fitted in the most convenient position available.

Our sterilizer ranges treat 0.5 to 500m3/hour, acting as clarifiers and providing clean water to improve the health and observation of your koi.

Yamitsu algae master uv's are made from UV stabilised materials to ensure a longer life and incorporate turbulators to enhance the unit’s performance. There is a large inlet and exhaust port to make the algae master uv suitable for a wide range of pond uv applications. It is recommended that the algae master uv should be installed using solid solvent weld pipe. However, all algae master uv's come complete with free (glue in) hosetails enabling them to be connected to ½", ¾", 1", 1¼" and 1½" flexible pipe. Algae master uv's will also fit most popular 1½" household solvent weld waste and pressure pipes.

These should be changed at least once a year for optimum performance.
